The controller works right out of the box is very responsive and works perfectly. Most buttons are solid enough, the wheel works well, and the price was definitely right. The handles are hard plastic and the controller itself is lightweight. After using it for a couple of weeks (and through two games, the excellent Beyond Good and Evil "and" Metroid Prime "), I have two criticisms, both were mentioned in Amazon reviews. First, it is very small for an adult.
